What inspired you to be an interior designer?

Its juncture between art, design and architecture felt just right for me.

If they were to make a toy action figure of you, what would your accessory be?

A handbag, concealing notepad and pencil, laser ruler and my favourite perfume.

To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life within the design world has taken?

These kind of existential questions are best discussed over a shared bottle of wine.

What would be your dream interior project?

Designing my own home from the ground up, with thought and attention spent on the smallest details as well as the largest.

What’s something you know you do differently than most people?

I've been told I'm a good listener which is in no way a unique skill but certainly one I try my best to embody as I think it's exceptionally important if you wish to breathe sensitivity, feeling and life into a client's vision for their project.

If you could go back in time and speak to your adolescent self, what advice would you give them about the design world?

To be honest, I wasn't thinking too much about the design world as a teenager, I was more concerned with running off to university and becoming cosmopolitan. In retrospect, I'd have simply told my 18-year-old self to follow her curiosity and not worry too much about fitting in. Just like any world, the design world has cliques but the biggest creative (and personal) freedom is not giving a damn and doing what feels right.
