What inspired you to be an interior designer?

The fun of walking around the textile stands, touching and smelling the fabrics when going with my grandmother to the store, and helping her cut and sew to finally watch how she magically created dresses, cushions, tablecloths! 

I was only 5 years old!

If they were to make a toy action figure of you, what would your accessory be?

I never thought of this, but Cinderella´s mice or her Fairy Godmother!

To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life within the design world has taken?

It has actually taken me through creativity and the needs of the clients! I don´t think I have controlled it, I believe life has taken me and I have flown with it. 

What would be your dream interior project?

To design and decorate hotel boutiques in Mexico, Morocco, Turkey, Italy, South Africa, Brazil, Bali, Greece, Jamaica, among many more! 

What’s something you know you do differently than most people?

I play, I read my clients´ needs and get their feelings, their fears, then I work designing the cozy place they need to feel safe, at home, loved and comfortable. 

If you could go back in time and speak to your adolescent self, what advice would you give them about the design world?

Read, investigate, attend expos, meet people, PR is extremely important, and be yourself, design your own image that is your trade mark. Enjoy your creativity.
